Angie got baptized this week! It was great to see her make those first covenants and start on her own journey.
Other news from this week.... we had transfers. I am staying in Wilson (that will make 4.5 months) and Sister Hall is going to Portsmouth VA. Sister Kerr will be coming here to be my new companion! Should be exciting.
We have had so many members out with us this week! We have 14 member present lessons.... that's a lot! We had 25 total lessons for the week. A new record for me on the mission. Members are feeding us really well, I love it! Sunday we got fed lunch and two dinners! I was so full I rolled into the house. You could have called me Violet! (name that movie!!) Anyway this week was pretty good and I look forward to the equally if not better weeks ahead. I love you all and hope you are have wonderful weeks as well!
This week we had transfers... It is always scary to start a new transfer with a new companion... but I LOVE Sister Kerr! She is so amazing! This will be an awesome transfer. This week has flown by and I don't remember most of it. We did have a really great lesson with Erick though. He is a member referral from a youth in the ward, Joseph. Joseph is amazing and will be such a great missionary, he is so gospel centered in everything that he does. Joseph and Erick actually met because he was sharing his beliefs with a friend who introduced them. Well our lesson was on the restoration. We could tell the spirit was there so strong as we asked inspired questions and listened to his answers. He felt like he could tell us what he was going through. And Joseph was there helping us and bearing testimony, it was like we were in a trio! We even committed Erick to baptism when he knows that these things are true! At the close of our lesson Erick told us that he felt comfortable telling us his feelings because he could tell that we cared. It was such a sweet experience and I am so excited to go back and teach him again. This week was just so good. I am really looking forward to this transfer with Sister Kerr. I love you all and hope you have a blessed week!
Wow reading through that again I realize that I really need to go back to school....
