This is a really funny email that one of the mom's in the ward got from her son.
CHAPTER 1
1 in the beginning, there was the mailbox
2 and the missionaries said, "let it be filled", and it was not.
3 on the second day the missionaries said, "let it be filled", and it was not so.
4 and on the 3rd and 4th day, yea, even all the week did it remain empty
5 and darkness filled the mission.
6 but behold, on the 2nd day of the 2nd week, a ray of light appeared and shattered the void, a letter! and the missionaries rejoiced together.
7 but alas, it was addressed to someone else.
8 but if there was this much rejoicing over someones else's letter, how much rejoicing would there be if a letter arrived for them?
CHAPTER 2
1. yea, unto what shall we liken the sending of a letter? behold, the parable of the lazy friend.
2 and it came to pass that a missionary got a call, and was going to go into a far land
3 so he gave one friend 5 envelopes , and another 3, and to another 1. and so the missionary left, having commissioned these letters unto his friends
4 and it came to pass that the missionary with 5 envelopes wrote 5 letters, and got excited, and wrote 5 more.
5 and likewise did the friend with 3 envelopes, who wrote 3 letters, and then 3 more
6 but the friend with 1 envelope was slothful, and put the envelope in a drawer, and even then lost it, and wrote no letters.
7 then after 2 years the missionary returned, and reunited with his friends.
8 and he said unto his friend with 5 envelopes, well done though faithful friend, though hast sent me 5 letters, and even more, thou shalt be a good friend forever, come into the return home party of thy missionary.
9 and it came pass that the missionary said likewise unto him who had 3 envelopes
10 and the friend who had one envelope said, missionary, behold, I lost your envelope, for I feared, knowing thou to be a wise missionary, writing letters to those who were near to you, and I was afraid thinking you would write me first.
11 but unto the friend who had one envelope the missionary said, though lazy and slothful friend, tho knowest I write to those whom I see fit,
12 but thou wast entrusted with little, and hath lost that even which you had. I shall send you away to the blocked facebook friends list, where there is much regret, and embarrassment.
CHAPTER 3
1 and the missionary and a friend sat together, and the missionary asked him, friend, lovest thou me?
2 and the friend said, yea elder.
3 and the elder said, fill my mailbox
4 and after a while, the missionary asked, friend, lovest thou me?
5 and the friend answered, feeling perplexed, and said, yes i love thee
6 and the elder said, fill my mailbox
7 and the missionary asked a third time, friend, beloved friend, lovest thou me?
8 and the friend responded, elder, thou knowest that i love thee
9 and the elder said, stuff my mailbox
